why donate to hockey at UoN?

Over the last few years Hockey at UoN has been going from strength to strength. We now have 3 National League sides, with both 1st XI’s being in the National Premier Division, and the men’s 2nd XI in the Midlands Conference. Both men’s and ladies have 7 BUCS teams and 6 England Hockey League teams, with many of the BUCS teams being in their highest leagues possible, and promotions being a common occurrence.

All of this success does however demand more resources such as coaching, equipment and increased league and travel costs. To compete at this level we need to invest in our programs but we can only do this with the support of sponsors and donors. In January 2022 we were able to invest in a camera mast - thanks to donations. It’s projects like these that are going to enable us to keep progressing as a club, and compete at the highest level possible. Donate now by clicking here.

Anything you can give will be greatly appreciated

How to donate

You can make either One-Time Donations or Recurring Donations. If you were able to make a Recurring Donation we would be able to build this into our budgets and invest it into coaching. If you were to make a One-Time Donation we would put this towards projects that would enhance our facilities or equipment. Donations can be made to UoNMHC, UoNLHC or hockey as a whole at UoN.

recent projects

Our most recent project was in Jan 2022 when we invested in our own 4K CaptureMast Camera System. The camera came at a cost of £2,640, but £1,980 of the cost was covered by donations - thank you. With two teams in the Premier Division, we are most likely going to need to purchase another camera so there is enough footage from either two angles or one camera at home and one away, to perform analysis of the quality needed.
